Forklift loading and unloading of semi-trailers poses a safety risk to pedestrians and other forklifts. Whether it's a dock attendant, plant manager, maintenance technician, passerby, or forklift operator, anyone near the loading dock is at risk due to reduced visibility and communication.

The problem persists. The question is how to solve it. Despite the efforts of employers and suppliers in the sector, accidents involving forklifts and pedestrians are common. Every year in the United States, nearly 100 workers lose their lives and 20,000 are seriously injured in forklift-related accidents. There is clearly no miracle solution. Representing the next generation of loading dock communication, Rite-Vu consists of three distinct illuminated communication modules that provide clear visual signaling to the right person, at the right time, and in the right place. It is the only system that clearly indicates to forklift drivers and pedestrians when a forklift is working inside a trailer, allowing them to take the necessary precautions to avoid any risk of accidental exit. This technology also provides additional protection for forklift drivers, helping to reduce serious accidents due to a trailer being detached from the dock.
