This dock leveler offers simple operation at the touch of a button, an easy-to-clean frame with quicker access for maintenance, and a unique support solution that helps protect against free fall by allowing the leveler to float freely during the loading/unloading process.

Hydraulic Conversion

Safe-T strut bar

Rite-Hite's Safe-T-Strut™ system features a central structure running through the ledge that provides heavy-duty support for the leveler and flange throughout the operating range, helping to prevent dock leveler sagging during maintenance operations and protect personnel working underneath. It is certified to withstand forklift impacts up to 6.4 km/h and helps with compliance with OSHA regulations for logging and labeling.

Safe-T-Lip

  • The optional maintenance pendant socket helps minimize risk and reduce waste, while promoting productivity when maintaining pneumatic dock levellers. This socket makes it possible to compensate for the labour shortage by requiring only one technician instead of two for maintenance.
  • Gaskets allow the gaps between the dock leveler and the concrete pit wall to be filled for better environmental control and increased energy efficiency, with the option to install them on new levellers or retrofit them to existing levellers.

  • The Two-Point Crown Control system reinforces the front hinge (between the leveling plate and the rim) in two places to eliminate the "bumpy" feeling experienced with traditional levelers with increased crown reinforcement.
  • The constant radius rear hinge ensures a regular 1/3" gap between the warehouse floor and the leveling tray, greatly reducing the gap that causes painful bumps and turns when passing.
  • The extended lip chamfer comes standard with an extended length of 3 inches (compared to 1/3 inch for the traditional leveler) which ensures a smoother transition between the edge and the floor of the trailer, helping to reduce body impact.
  • The beam construction includes two additional L-beams under the leveler platen, which provide increased strength and superior flexibility, allowing the leveler to flex up to 4 inches under its own weight.
