OSHA requires that mezzanine perimeters be equipped with gates, guardrails, or other fall protection systems if the raised level exceeds 1.20 m (4 feet) the lower level. Pallet reception areas must also be protected, even when goods are being transferred by a forklift. This double-leaf gate provides permanent protection in these areas.
