RHH-4000

Many forklift operators use conventional dock levellers more than 100,000 times a year. With each pass, they experience unpleasant jolts due to the irregularities and gaps present in the obsolete levellers; their equipment and the products transported also suffer. These vibrations, also known as dock shocks or body vibrations, can lead to chronic back and neck pain, product spills, and repair costs. These issues can be reduced or even eliminated with the Smooth Transition Dok System ™ design, with all systems tested and certified to ANSI MH30.1.

Safe-T-Lip

Replace traditional leveling stops with the Rite-Hite 12.7 cm or 17.8 cm Safe-T-Lip® Barrier to prevent accidental spills. Its slotted design allows unobstructed access for end loading.

Connected loading dock capabilities

Increase loading dock productivity by combining with sensors and alerts that signal the arrival of a truck, equipment operation, failure mode occurrences, and more. Track loading and unloading operations to identify unnecessary downtime between operations. Notify dock attendants at wharves where detention and demurrage charges are imminent.

Safe-T strut bar

Rite-Hite's Safe-T-Strut™ system features a central structure running through the ledge that provides heavy-duty support for the leveler and flange throughout the operating range, helping to prevent dock leveler sagging during maintenance operations and protect personnel working underneath. It is certified to withstand forklift impacts up to 6.4 km/h and helps with compliance with OSHA regulations for logging and labeling.

DokBox

The Dok-Box™ pre-engineered dock leveling pit formwork kit offers a more efficient and simpler method of pit casting than conventional methods.

The RHH-4000 is a hydraulic dock leveller designed for conventional loading and unloading operations. It stands out for its Smooth Transition Dok system, which provides an extremely smooth transition between the warehouse floor and the trailer floor, reducing vibration and shaking for forklift operators, products and equipment.

This leveller operates with simple hydraulic control, eliminating the need for manual chain pulling and improving ergonomics for operators. It is also equipped with many safety features, such as the Safe-T-Strut™ system that provides central support during maintenance, and the Safe-T-Lip® to protect against accidental falls from an open dock.

Thanks to its self-flexible platform, it maintains constant contact with the trailer floor even when the weight of the forklift is removed, helping to reduce impacts and premature wear.

This hydraulic leveller also offers increased reliability, reduced maintenance and the ability to withstand intensive operations, making it a smart choice for warehouses and logistics facilities looking to optimize both safety and operational efficiency.

Lower cost of ownership

Its unique structural design allows it to withstand the extreme stresses of warehouses, reducing repair and maintenance costs, while increasing product life.

  • The formed front lintel (connection between the tray and the leveler flange) completes the four-sided rectangular box construction and includes interlocking and welded stringers to create a stronger bond, increase overall strength, and help limit maintenance-related downtime issues.
  • The lifetime ownership costs of a hydraulic dock leveller are significantly lower than those of a mechanical leveller, which has an average maintenance cost of 6 times higher.
  • Certified to meet and exceed ANSI MH30.1 performance testing standards.
Soft® transition Dok® system

Help reduce operating costs by increasing productivity with one-touch control, easy-to-clean frame, and infinite edge control, and reducing energy loss with a bottom leveling joint and dock door shelter for complete sealing on all four sides.

  • Push-button control helps increase productivity by reducing ergonomic strain on staff and improving overall ease of use.
  • The Infinite Lip Control system (recommended) helps reduce operating time and enhance safety by allowing the operator to extend the lip or stop the platform at any time while the leveler is moving.
  • The Easy Clean frame reduces the time spent on cleanup by making it easier to remove dirt and debris.
  • The biodegradable fluid is environmentally friendly and performs better than traditional industrial fluids.
  • The optional maintenance pendant socket helps minimize risk and reduce waste while maximizing productivity when maintaining hydraulic dock levelers. This socket makes it possible to compensate for the labour shortage by requiring only one technician instead of two for maintenance.
  • Gaskets allow the gaps between the dock leveler and the concrete pit wall to be filled for better environmental control and increased energy efficiency, with the option to install them on new levellers or retrofit them to existing levellers.
Productivity and energy efficiency

Help reduce operating costs by increasing productivity with one-touch control, easy-to-clean frame, and infinite edge control, and reducing energy loss with a bottom leveling joint and dock door shelter for complete sealing on all four sides.

Industry-leading security

The importance of safety at the loading dock cannot be understated. From the loading and unloading process to planned maintenance, there are many aspects that need to be taken into account to protect personnel and equipment.

  • Self-Flexing Deck
Uses L-shaped stringers to reinforce the platform and allow the leveler to flex up to 10 cm under its own weight. This structural design ensures constant contact with the trailer floor, even after the forklift has been removed.
  • Safe-T-Strut™
Provides enhanced safety during maintenance with a central support bar running through the lip of the leveller. The bar stays in place throughout the leveler's operating range and can withstand an accidental impact from a 10,000 lb (4,535 kg) forklift at 4 mph (6 km/h).
  • Visibility from the inside
Indicates that maintenance is in progress and prevents accidental activation, protecting personnel during planned interventions.
  • Safe-T-Lip®
Provides protection against accidental drops. Its split-lip design allows the gate to be positioned out of the way for secure, unobstructed access to the load from the end.
  • Non-Adjustable Velocity Fuse
Prevents the leveler from being lowered quickly by 76 mm (3") under heavy load on the platform, providing maximum protection against free falls.

Warranty

The equipment is backed by comprehensive warranties, designed to ensure durability, performance and customer satisfaction over the long term.

  • Up to 20-year money-back warranty
Based on the Dock Leveler Investment Guide, this warranty reflects the reliability and durability of the equipment.
  • 5 years on parts and 1 year on labor
Covers components and repairs needed to ensure reliable use of the leveler.
  • 12-month limited customer satisfaction guarantee
Satisfaction commitment with the possibility of reimbursement according to the applicable conditions.

Connected Capabilities

Do you want better visibility into the performance of your docks to improve safety and productivity?

Levellers connected to Dok-Commander® are compatible with Rite-Hite ONE.* This connection to a single digital platform provides real-time data and visibility, enabling informed maintenance decisions, reducing inefficiencies, and preventing incidents.

Real-time alerts are sent to any device to identify and stop unsafe behavior, such as:

  • Unauthorized uses or failure modes.
  • Employee entering an unsecured trailer.

The analyses collected at each stage of the loading process make it possible to identify bottlenecks and optimize operations:

  • Total loading time, to avoid delays costs.
  • Use of equipment, in order to detect under- or over-use.
  • Trailer positioned at the dock, but restraint system not yet engaged.

Provides complete visibility into the status of connected devices and their maintenance history:

  • Define the condition of the equipment (out of service or immediate action required).
  • Tracking equipment performance (number of cycles, usage, service history).
  • Documentation and recording of maintenance operations and interventions.

* Rite-Hite ONE subscription required.
