RHH-5000 High Capacity Hydraulic Dock Leveler
Superior load capacity for heavy loads and industrial equipment. Reinforced hydraulics ensure stability and performance in the most demanding conditions.
The RHH-5000 High Capacity Hydraulic Dock Leveler is specially designed for heavy loads and intensive logistics environments. Thanks to the Smooth Transition Dok System® technology, this leveller minimizes jolts and vibrations when forklifts pass by, improving the safety and comfort of operators while reducing wear and tear on products and equipment.
Its rugged structure meets stringent ANSI MH30.1 performance standards and is built to last, even in the face of frequent loads and high volumes of product. The four-sided rectangular box design, with welded stringers and additional I-beams, provides increased strength and optimal flexibility.
The leveller also incorporates advanced safety features:
- Fall protection in an unoccupied dock with the Safe-T-Lip® barrier;
- Protection against free fall thanks to the speed fuse (Velocity Fuse) that slows down the rapid descent of the platform;
- Safe-T-Strut™ system to secure the platform during maintenance.
In addition to safety and performance, the RHH-5000 can be connected to digital solutions to monitor equipment health and optimize maintenance and productivity.
Rite-Hite levelers are rigorously tested to meet the most stringent warehouse requirements, while making safety a priority; They are designed to support and scale with increasing frequency and volume loads.
- Certified for three different capacities, all of which exceed ANSI MH30.1 performance testing standards to meet the needs of a diverse range of warehouse environments.
- The four-sided rectangular box construction includes interlocking and welded rails (front rail formed) to create a stronger bond, increase overall strength, and help limit maintenance-related downtime issues.
- The beam construction includes two additional I-beams under the leveler platen, which provides increased strength and superior flexibility, allowing the leveler to flex under its own weight.
- The trailer stabilization system (STR-4200) is highly recommended for heavy loads. This system uses hydraulic cylinders to hold the trailer in place and thus stabilizes the horizontal and vertical movements of the air suspension trailers during loading and unloading operations.
Complementing the Smooth Transition Dok System®, the Dok-Lok® also helps minimize jolts for forklift operators, reduces back-related injuries, and supports the aging workforce while minimizing wear and tear on other dock equipment components.
Its unique structural design allows it to withstand the extreme demands of warehouses, reducing repair and maintenance costs, while increasing productivity and product life.
- The formed front lintel (connection between the tray and the leveler flange) completes the four-sided rectangular box construction and includes interlocking and welded stringers to create a stronger bond, increase overall strength, and help limit maintenance-related downtime issues.
- The lifetime ownership costs of a hydraulic dock leveller are significantly lower than those of a mechanical leveller, which has an average maintenance cost of 6 times higher.
- The Easy Clean frame reduces the time spent on cleanup by making it easier to remove dirt and debris.
- The gasket under the optional PitMaster X™ leveler helps prevent energy loss, improve dock cleanliness, and increase employee comfort.
- The biodegradable fluid is environmentally friendly and performs better than traditional industrial fluids.
- The optional maintenance pendant socket helps minimize risk and reduce waste while maximizing productivity when maintaining hydraulic dock levelers. This socket makes it possible to compensate for the labour shortage by requiring only one technician instead of two for maintenance.
In addition to personal injury to personnel, products and equipment circulating in the material transfer area are also vulnerable to dockside impacts. Prevent employee injuries and costly product damage by choosing a leveler equipped with the Smooth Transition Dok System®.
- The Two-Point Crown Control system reinforces the front hinge (between the leveling plate and the rim) in two places to eliminate the "bumpy" feeling experienced with traditional levelers with increased crown reinforcement.
- The constant radius rear hinge ensures a regular 1/3" gap between the warehouse floor and the leveling tray, greatly reducing the gap that causes painful bumps and turns when passing.
- The extended lip chamfer comes standard with an extended length of 3 inches (compared to 1/3 inch for the traditional leveler) which ensures a smoother transition between the edge and the floor of the trailer, helping to reduce body impact.
- The beam construction includes two additional I-beams under the leveler plate, which provides increased strength and superior flexibility, allowing the leveler to flex up to 4 inches under its own weight.
The importance of safety on loading docks cannot be underestimated. From loading/unloading to planned maintenance, safety must be a priority in many ways.
- The self-flexing deck uses I-beams to increase its strength and allow it to flex under its own weight. This structural design ensures constant contact between the leveler and the trailer bed, even after the forklift has been removed.
- The Safe-T-Strut ™ system provides increased safety during maintenance with a central through-the-flange design that keeps the strut in place throughout the leveler's operating range; Resistant to accidental impact from a 10,000 lb forklift at 4 mph.
Visibility from inside the building tells everyone that maintenance work is underway and helps prevent accidental tripping, ensuring the safety of personnel during scheduled maintenance operations.
- Safe-T-Lip® helps protect empty deposit areas, while its split edge design positions the barrier securely for unobstructed access to end-loads.
- Non-adjustable speed fuse helps stop the rapid lowering of the leveler to less than 76 mm (3 inches) with a large load on the platform; Offering ultimate protection against free falls.
The equipment is backed by comprehensive warranties, designed to ensure durability, performance and customer satisfaction over the long term.
- Up to 20-year money-back warranty

Do you want better visibility into the performance of your docks to improve safety and productivity?
Levellers connected to Dok-Commander® are compatible with Rite-Hite ONE.* This connection to a single digital platform provides real-time data and visibility, enabling informed maintenance decisions, reducing inefficiencies, and preventing incidents.
Real-time alerts are sent to any device to identify and stop unsafe behavior, such as:
- Unauthorized uses or failure modes.
- Employee entering an unsecured trailer.
The analyses collected at each stage of the loading process make it possible to identify bottlenecks and optimize operations:
- Total loading time, to avoid delays costs.
- Use of equipment, in order to detect under- or over-use.
- Trailer positioned at the dock, but restraint system not yet engaged.
Provides complete visibility into the status of connected devices and their maintenance history:
- Define the condition of the equipment (out of service or immediate action required).
- Tracking equipment performance (number of cycles, usage, service history).
- Documentation and recording of maintenance operations and interventions.
