Launched in 2001 in response to the growing trend of tail lifts, wheeled vehicle restraints support the widest variety of trailer types at the loading dock. By properly immobilizing the rear wheels, instead of leaning on the rear bumper (RIG), they are ideal for installations that want to:
- Supporting the widest variety of trailers, including specialty trailers and tail lifts (commonly used in the food and beverage industries).
- Respond to the growth of global logistics by properly securing intermodal container chassis, as well as clogged, damaged or missing RIGs to prevent trailer separation accidents during (un)loading operations.
- Ensure centered positioning of the trailer to improve the effectiveness of sealing systems with wheel guides.
