GWC-1000 Overall Wheel Chock

This manually positioned wheel chocks secure a wide variety of trailers, including those with a tailgate lift and those without a tailgate. Ergonomically designed, this smart solution maintains downward force to limit movement with an extra-long sole and ultrasonic sensor that ensures safe, continuous operation.

Help prevent the second leading cause of recoil death.

The Approach-Vu™ system uses a light and sound signal to clearly warn pedestrians, visually and audibly, when a vehicle is backing up. It is available as part of the vehicle's restraint box or as a stand-alone version, depending on the type of Dok-Lok.

Loading dock solutions for last-mile delivery

A complete system of versatile loading dock solutions is essential to meet tight delivery deadlines. Rite-Hite's product line, from the GWC-1000 to the Dok-Lok® Dock Timer to trailer lifts, designed to meet these specific requirements and backed by decades of industry-leading expertise, makes it the ideal partner for designing a loading dock suitable for last-mile delivery.

Manual and automatic restraint systems

Ultimately, the ideal vehicle restraint system is the one that best suits your needs. Whether manual or automatic, it is essential that your choice ensures constant contact with the inside and outside of the area, facilitates the integration of additional safety solutions and contributes to the efficiency and safety of your loading dock.

Dok-Lok vs. wheel chocks

Although portable and seemingly economical, wheel chocks often slip, get lost, stolen or crashed, and their use is disrupted by the elements. Setting them up also requires manual intervention from staff, exposing your employees to risks when accessing docks. Most importantly, single wheel chocks do not allow communication between material handlers and truck drivers, increasing the risk of unsafe early departures and other vehicle separation accidents.

Know your risks at the loading dock

With more than 100,000 forklift passes per leveller per year, dangerous separation accidents at loading docks can occur in a multitude of ways. Dok-Loks devices help prevent these costly risks, such as: Trailer pickup (dock walk) Early start Vertical opening or flip trailer Landing gear collapse

Importance of communication at the loading dock

Clear and concise communication is essential for safety and productivity. The use of lights, audible and visual alarms has an immediate positive impact on the loading dock. Red and green lights let personnel know when it is safe to load, while audible and visual alarms signal when to leave the driveway. Rite-Hite offers solutions for safer, more productive facilities!

Integrating a Dok-Lok® dock timer into your facilities will allow you to:

Improve loading efficiency by increasing trailer capacity and throughput. Prioritize handling needs based on posted time. Better control the high costs of detention and demurrage. Intuitive monitoring of the loading process, from the presence of the trailer if a sensor is present at the dock. Make data-informed decisions based on real-time events and historical trends with smart, connected capabilities. Optimize the existing Dok-Lok® vehicle restraint system.

Dok-Lok® Connected Vehicle Restraint Systems

Pair it with sensors to see cycle counts, trends, deviations and more. Track the entire (un)loading process to reduce downtime and prioritize loading needs to decrease holding costs.
